Ghana calls 31 athletes to camp
The Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) has invited 31 athletes to camp in readiness for impending international assignments.
According to Bawa Fuseini, General Secretary of the Association, the selected athletes were decided after 77-days of camping with the performance of the individual athletes serving the criteria.
Fuseini told GNA Sports that the athletes are expected to report on Tuesday, April 3 at the Ghana Education Service Hostels, off the Burma Camp road, Accra.
The selected athletes are made up of Gyaman Beatrice, Janet Amponsah, Gyimah Dorcas, Bludo Jacqueline, Sowah Georgina, Ahmed Shehida, Zutah Mary, Andoh Josephine, Tetteh Diana and Musa Salamatu.
Others are Agyei Doreen, Amponsah Abigail, Nkrumah Adelaide, Dadzie Elizabeth, Kubi Appiah, Ferguson Cyril, Agbeko Shepherd, Fordjuor Nicholas, Nsiah Kwaku, Forson Abedu, Nkansah Issac and Asante Emmanual.
The rest are Cudjoe Gerald, Worwu Promise, Ampomah John, Tetti Stephen, Gyefa, Emmanuel, Gyasi Daniel, Adu-Gyamfi, Etsey Martin and Nyamadi Ato.
