Ghana’s Beyin Beach among CNN’s best 25 African beaches
The Benyin Beach located in the Western Region of Ghana has been listed among CNN’s top 25 beaches in Africa.
The Beyin Beach placed 18th in the list which the cable TV released November 24, 2012. The Sharm el-Sheikh beach in Egypt was number one on the list.
“It’s a classic African working beach, and you can expect to watch about 100 men pulling in enormous seine nets filled with fish,” CNN said about the beach.
The Beyin beach is not too far away from the popular Nzulezo village which has wooden houses built on water.
The hospitality facility located at the beach is the Beyin Beach Resort, an eco-friendly lodge set in a peaceful coconut grove on the South West coast of Ghana, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
It has wooden chalets located over lush green lawns, and shell-bordered paths that can take one down to golden sands which stretch for miles.
