France-based duo Andre  and  Jordan Ayew have announced their return to the Black Stars after a four-month hiatus.

The two players, sons of ex-Black Stars captain, Abedi ‘Pele’ Ayew made the u-turn on their self-imposed exile from the national team after a meeting with President John Dramani Mahama at the seat of Government, Flagstaff House, on Tuesday.

The Ayews, after the meeting also attended by Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Fred Crentsil, Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) were talked in to renege on their earlier stand, there by announcing their availability for the Black Stars.

“Now everything is okay. Hopefully things with the GFA will be better. You cannot play football with conditions, you play your with your heart especially when it is for your country,” the senior Ayew told the media after the meeting.

Andre and Jordan have not played for the Stars since announcing their shocking temporary retirement from the team citing distinguished reasons.

Whilst Andre firmed his decision on his poor relationship with the Management of the team, Jordan said he wanted to gain much experience with his club, Olympique Marseille to be in good shape for future call-ups.

The duo played no part in the Stars fourth placing at the last Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa earlier in the year. Andre, who made the provisional squad was omitted after failing to report to camp before the deadline, whilst Jordan did not even make the cut.

The two players have been integral members of the Black Stars since making their debuts few years ago.
