Barclays Ghana launches “COOL CHOP PROMOTION”
Barclays Bank of Ghana Limited has launched a liability campaign dubbed “Cool Chop Promotion” to reward customers who consistently deposit with the bank.
During the promotion, 10 lucky customers (existing and new) stand a chance of doubling their savings while 20 others would win very attractive prizes such as air conditioners, digital cameras, laptops and microwaves at a grand draw in December.
A statement from the bank said both customers and potential customers are eligible for the promotion.
Existing customers are expected to grow their July end-of-month balances by at least 50% or more during the month of August, ending September 4 to qualify for the promotion.
At the close of this period the balance becomes the eligibility criteria to be part of the promotion.
New customers will be expected to open a new account with Barclays from August 10 to September 4 and grow that balance to any amount of their choice.
Barclays Ghana hopes to raise about GH¢86,512,458 from the promotion, which lasts from August to September.
The Head of Consumer Banking of Barclays Bank, Nana Dwumoh Benneh, said the promotion is to build stronger relations with existing as well as new customers, and mobilize savings for on-lending to customers.
“Additionally, Barclays is rewarding customers by doubling their balance growth over the agreed period. One of our key priorities this year is to delight our customers and one way to achieve that is to reward them even before Christmas,” he said.
