Artisans advised to form partnerships
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Association of Small-Scale Industries (ASSI), Mr Kwame Bour, has urged artisans to form partnerships, to make it easier for them to access bank credit.
He said through this, they would be able to add value to their products and expand their businesses.
Mr Bour was addressing a meeting of the regional branch of the Wood Workers Association of Ghana (WAG) in Kumasi.
He said the efficiency on the part of the small-scale industries would inject some pace into the nation’s industrialization and called on the wood workers to adopt best practices to promote the growth of the wood industry.
Mr Reynolds Debrah, the Regional Chairman of WAG, said the wood industry had bright prospects and urged the members to constantly upgrade their skills and knowledge through training.
