Open letter to Nana Akufo-Addo

Nana congratulations on your second time election as NPP Presidential Candidate. As you yourself know, half the journey is done. But the prime mission task now in gear will determine all things. YET, every and all things depend on Christ Jesus the King of Glory, Redeemer, God, King, Lord and Governor of Ghana.

Please, LET NO ONE DECEIVE YOU. LET NO SPIRIT nor POWER lure you into thinking that your natural abilities, political savvy, financial resources and human connection with the dead or living, indigenous or foreign, resident or non-resident can deliver you the crown.

Perhaps, you want to know that the resounding victory in the presidential nominee race took place in the night of 6th and 7th August. We do not want to remind you in that regard of the 2008 election. WHAT IS NEEDED HERE IS HUMILITY, FAITH, TRUST and TOTAL DEPENDENCE on JEHOVAH, the sovereign supreme power controlling the universe. He is the God of Ghana and with Him, all things are possible.

We say this not so much to assure you of VICTORY in 2012 or an earlier election which is not a remote possibility, as to ensure that YOU ARE NOT PERSUADED TO HAND OVER THE NPP and GHANA to any spirit, power and controlling force. Jehovah God is the God of Ghana and Christ Jesus is the reigning and ruling king.

We are aware in this regard of the disobedience and stubbornness of man. The 2008 election is an example of human disobedience, the disregard and rejection of God’s plans and purposes for the country.

That is to say, it is imperative that you design and work out your policies, measures and election campaign in full cognizance of the Hand of God on the nation.

First, it is time to take final decision as to WHO IS THE GOD of GHANA, and WHO IS THE GOD of Nana Akuffo Addo. In this connection, let me take you back to the days of agitation against UNIGOV, the heydays of the Freedom and Justice Movement.

The truth and lesson here is that none of THE ENGINEERS and STALWARTS of the movement won the ultimate crown of Head of State or President of the country. We made this known to Mr. Victor Owusu and Mr. K. A. Gbedemah. Both and all those who were imprisoned on account of anti-UNIGOV agitation never got to wear the crown.

It is necessary to take note in this regard of the current high level tension in the nation due to intra-party and inter-party strife, the extreme “politicization” or better still party-oriented stance and pitch battles on national issues, the non-clear emergence and agreement on the public interest, and hence the lack of unity on national issues as a result. There is now no clear, true, free, fair and non-biased debate on national issues. This is not only debasing politics and polluting intellectualism and scholarship, it is also leading to the promotion of lies, violence, wickedness and wicked machinations in the body politic. These evil practices are being established as an integral part of politics, governance and statecraft. The foot-soldier-DCE kpanlogo concerto are signs of seeping putrefying wounds in party politics in the land.

Now, the old order of political-party vigilantism and regimentation, violence and blood, open defiance of law and order, dictatorship, coups, the abuse and mis-use of power, the open and non-restrained robbery of state coffers and the national treasury are over and must be seen to be over.

Who can lead the country in this new ear to consolidate the new thing?

There is now A NEW GHANA. The worship of power and money, the gods, ancestors, traditionalism and foreign masters, their atheistic-humanistic philosophies, ideologies and life pattern all under the dictates, dominion and kingdom of Satan and man must CEASE.

The Spirit of the Lord is doing a new thing. We are in a new Ghana of Divine choosing, works, dominion and kingdom order. No one can set the clock back!!

Nana Akuffo Addo must nonetheless take full account of history. He cannot but take account of the forces behind the fortunes and misfortunes of political parties in the land, to wit historical UP-PP-NPP.

Not only that, it is time for the NPP as a party, as well as the NDC, the CPP and other political parties, existing or yet to be formed to take note that the Ghana of to-day is NOT the Ghana of Danquah-Nkrumah and UP-CPP era,  and the era of the military regimented political order of guns, canes and open robbery nor the political order of unbridled selfishness, lies, violence and wickedness, corruption, fraud, cheating, stealing and robbery in the name of public service, all steeped in satanic power, blood and human wickedness. These systems are not merely of the old order, THEY CONSTITUTE enmity with God and Ghana.

Finally, Nana, let me sound a word of caution. There are many false prophets, seers and spiritual gurus around whose God is their belly, whose message is flattery and lies, and whose goal is to make fortune as they lead people to their false gods, and of course Satan. Ghana abounds also of lip servants and agents of opportunism and hypocricy, enemies of God, Christ and country altogether.

Meanwhile, do not forsake the gathering of the saints at worship, knowing that God does not honour those who worship Him by their lips and cash, and polluted ego. God cannot be mocked. He is Holy. He is Eternal. He is Supreme. He is all-knowing, all-wise, everywhere all the time.

And Ghana, our beloved country is in His Eternal plans and hands, purposes and glory on earth.

Our God, the God of Ghana reigns. Amen!
