Ghana stocks gain
The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main market indicator, went up by 19.59 points from 6,656.82 points to 6,676.41 points during Wednesday’s trading on the Accra bourse.
The Change Year to Date was 19.81.
Traded volume was 84,024 shares valued at GH¢62,323.29. Shares of 11 equities were sold.
On the broader market, there were six price changes, five positives and a negative. Fan Milk Limited (FML) led the gainers with a share price increase of GH¢0.10 to close at GH¢8.70; Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) went up by GH¢0.05 to close at GHc3.00 while Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP); Golden Star Resources Limited (GSR) and SG-SSB Limited (SG-SSB) gained GH¢0.01 each to close at GH¢0.75; GH¢3.61 and GH¢0.61 in that order.
Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) lost GH¢0.01 to close at 0.26.
Market Capitalisation closed the session at GH¢18,541.16 million from 17.48 million issued shares.
