Czech Ambassador pledges support for Sports Development

Miloslav Machelek, Czech Republic Ambassador to Ghana has pledged partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to enhance sports development in the country.

The Ambassador assured of support in the areas of equipment, provision of technical assistance and training to help promote sports throughout Ghana.

Machelek, who said this when he paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Youth and Sports, Akua Sena Dansua, added that the Czech Government is committed to partnering their Ghanaian counterparts in the various sectors of Sports Development.

Ms. Dansua on her part commended the Czech Ambassador on his motive which will also aid the development of lesser-known sporting discipline.

She said her Ministry welcomes the partnership which will go a long way towards raising the image of sports in the country.
