Public lecture to commemorate 31st December Revolution
A public lecture will be held at the Teachers Hall in Accra to mark the 29th anniversary of the 31st December Revolution.
A statement issued on Monday by the organising committee said the lecture would be held on the theme: “Integrity for Sustainable Democracy.”
It said former President Jerry John Rawlings who led the Revolution would be the Special Guest of Honour.
The leading speakers would include Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, and former Minister of Health, Mr Samuel Nuamah Donkor.
The statement said there would be poetry recital by Nii Ashitey of the United Cadres Front and cultural display by the Ghana Dance Ensemble.
