The English Football Association is considering a return friendly match in Accra after the Wembley game in March 29, 2011.
The consideration comes after Ghana sold out 20,000 tickets for the match against England.
The UK’s Daily Mail reports today February 25, 2011, that the English FA chairman David Bernstein held discussions with lawyer Mel Goldberg, who helped organise the March 29 clash, over a return fixture within the next two years.
“On Wednesday I met the chairman of the FA to discuss the match on March 29 and had discussions about playing in Accra,” Lawyer Goldberg told the Daily Mail.
“There is a very good chance this will happen in due course and not too far away” he added.
Ghana would be playing DR Congo in a World Cup qualifier prior to the trip to London.
Calls to GFA officials on the matter were not returned.
