The Minister of Education, Mrs. Betty Mould Iddrisu, will on Tuesday meet Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Dufuor and the Controller and Accountant General, Mr. Raphael Tuffuor in an urgent effort to address the anomalies arising from the migration of teachers unto the Single Spine Salary Structure.

A statement issued and signed by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa,Deputy Minister of Information said the meeting “will fashion out a solution to the technical errors that occurred in the payment of the February salary and allowance of teachers.”
The statement indicated that Mrs. Mould Iddrisu is also expected to hold separate emergency meetings with the leadership of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) and Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT).
