Ellembelle district officials inspects project

Officials of the Ellembelle District Coordinating and Planning Unit have inspected a 23-kilometer road project at Atababo-Santaso-Kwasikrom in the area, awarded by the Assembly.

The road, when completed would link the northern part of the district to the south to facilitate economic activities.

The Project Manager of Zaffas Construction Limited, working on the road, Mr. Patrick Arizie, took the team round the site.

He said that the company had covered 15 kilometres of work and said he was optimistic that the entire project would be completed in April this year as scheduled.

The District Feeder Roads Engineer, Mr Bio Meikano, said the project was funded under the District Development Fund and commended the contractors for work so far done.

The District Chief Executive for Ellembelle, Mr. Daniel K. Eshun, also praised the contractor for work done but cautioned him to do quality work.

Mr. Eshun appealed to residents of Onso Nyameye, a community near to the site, to support the contractor to complete the work on schedule.
