Ghana maintains No. 15 position in latest FIFA rankings
The Ghana Black Stars have maintained their position both in Africa and the world in the latest FIFA rankings released today May 18, 2011.
The Black Stars are number one in Africa and 15 in the world with 918 points, the second time in a row. Ghana neither lost nor gained any points, the rankings indicated.
The highest ever FIFA ranking the country had attained was 14 in February 2008 whiles the lowest was 89 in June 2004.
Ivory Coast is second on the African continent followed by Egypt.
Spain still leads the FIFA rankings at number one.
