Bringing development to the people should be their overriding concern, he said.
The Omanhene made the call when the new Municipal Chief Executive for Ejisu-Juaben, Mr Afrifa Yamoah-Ponko, paid a courtesy call on him at his Juaben Palace.
He was there to officially introduce himself to the Juaben Traditional Council.
Daasebre Otuo Serebour appealed to him to work hard to better the socio-economic situation of those, especially in deprived communities, through the provision of the necessary social amenities.
He said there should some level of fairness and equity in the distribution of projects and that the situation where urban centres tended to be heavily favoured by way of over concentration of projects should change.
That, he said, could significantly help to stop the rural-urban drift.
Mr Yamoah-Ponko pledged to promote unity and work together with all to tackle the development challenges of the municipality.
