Finance Ministry appoints new Chief Director
The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MOFEP) has appointed Mr. Enoch Hemans Cobbinah as the Ministry’s substantive Chief Director.
The announcement which was made in a brief statement on MOFEP’s website July 12, 2011 says Mr Cobbinah takes over from Mrs Effie Simpson Ekuban, who was then the Acting Chief Director.
Before his new position, Mr Cobbinah, a Chief Economist, was the Head of the Non-Tax Revenue Unit at MOFEP.
He has over twenty-two years (22) of experience in Public Finance Administration.
He holds a Master of Science Degree in Economics and Statistics from the Economics and Statistics Institute in Moscow-Russia.
He is also an alumna of the University of Connecticut, Duke University and Harvard University in the US.
