Joyce Aryee retires as CEO of Ghana Chamber of Mines
Ms Joyce Rosalind Aryee has retired as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Chamber of Mines (GCM).
Ms. Aryee has served as CEO of the chamber for ten years.
An official at GCM told ghanabusinessnews.com on telephone today September 30, 2011 that Ms. Aryee has retired but declined to give details.
Ms. Joyce Aryee at one-time served as Minister of State in charge of Information and Education during the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) era.
She is a management & communications consultant and a professional counselor.
Ms Aryee is the first woman to head the African Chamber of Mines drawing her experience from over 38 years of service to the nation.
In 2006, Ms. Aryee was awarded the Order of the Volta of Ghana (OVC) (Companion) by former President J.A Kufuor.
She was named the CIMG Marketing Woman for the year 2007.
