Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah to seal deal with Ukrainian side FC Volyn
Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has arrived in Ukraine to seal a deal with FC Volyn Lutsk, MTNFootball reports October 21, 2011.
“Appiah is in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk to negotiate a reported three-year deal with the Crusaders who are now placed 12th on the Premier League standings,” said the publication.
Stephen Appiah, 32, retired from international football after the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The midfielder has been without a club after leaving Italian club Cesena at the last Serie-A campaign.
