All Nations University signs GH¢25,000 contract for hostel facilities
All Nations University College, a Christian University in Koforidua, has signed contracts worth GH¢25,000 with two local contractors to build two hostel facilities on its one thousand acre permanent campus.
A release issued to the Ghana News Agency said the hostels when completed, would house 750 students each, bringing the total to 1,500 students.
It said amenities in the hostel will include internet cafes, Restaurants, Shopping centre, Dinning area, gym and exercise centre, offices and twenty four self-catering staff accommodation for faculty.
It said currently, the 1,000 acre permanent campus houses the ANU Technologies, a private company which is into software design and hardware building.
The statement said the Engineering complex also houses programmes such as Computer Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Oil and Gas Engineering.
Representing the University were the Vice President of Academics, Dr. Charles Sagoe, Vice President of Students Affairs, Dr. Lynn Darkwah, Vice President of Advancement, Mr. Samuel Aboagye Danso, Deputy Registrar (Administration), Mrs. Vera Aboagye, Director of Infrastructure, Mr. E.K Oware and representatives of Kingdwosco and Thames construction Limited.
All Nations University College is accredited by the National Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Education, Ghana and affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
