18-year old student killed in an accident

Philip Amoah, 18, and a third-year student of the Bibiani Secondary/Technical School, died instantly when a motor bike crashed into his bicycle at Bibiani.

He was riding from the Gyibi suburb towards the main Bibiani lorry terminal at about 1830 hours when the accident happened.

The District Police Commander, Superintendent Francis Enorh, who confirmed the accident to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the rider of the motor bike, one Aboagye, sustained serious injuries.

He is now on admission at the Bibiani Government Hospital.

The body of the deceased had also been deposited at the mortuary of the same facility for autopsy.
