Ghana League Clubs Association constitutes 5-member Committee for elections
The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has constituted a five-member Election Committee to supervise the welfare body’s election.
The Committee will be chaired by Major (Retired) Yaw Larsen, a former Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC.
Other members of the Committee are Nana Ntiri Dankyi, Joseph Yaw Appiah, Mohammed Alhassan and Karim Kudayah, acting Administrative Manager of GHALCA.
A statement issued and signed by Kudayah copied to GNA Sports said the Interim Management Committee of GHALCA has outlined the programme for the elections.
It said nominations would open on Monday, November 21 and close on Monday, December 5, 2011 whilst the elections are due for Wednesday, December 14 at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium.
Positions to be contested for include Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, two Premier League club representatives and one representative each for Division One and Division Two respectively.
