KNUST to roll out entrepreneural training programmes
The Kwame Nkrumah Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is planning to make the study of entrepreneurship compulsory at the university to equip students with business and managerial skills.
Mr Kwaku Boafo Kissiedu, Head of Sculpture and Painting Department, Faculty of Art at the KNUST, who announced this, said the university was liaising with the National Board for Small-Scale Industries and the KNUST School of Business to roll out training programmes. in entrepreneurship.
He was addressing the closing session of a four-week interactive workshop organized by the Faculty and the Kolding School of Design in Denmark, in Kumasi.
The event brought together about 100 participants, drawn from the university and the School of Design, who undertook common practical projects in sculpture and industrial design, painting and illustration, communication design through posters, videos and photographs.
