Ghana FA to question six referees over Premier league matches
The Referees Review Panel of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has extended invitation to six referees to appear before it on Friday, December 9, at its secretariat.
A statement from the GFA said the invitation of the six referees was after a study of their performance in some Premier League matches.
The invited referees include; Samuel Gyasi, the center referee in the Medeama and Heart of Lions game, referee Ali Musah Plato, Assistant One Emmanuel Baah and J. Wilson Dankwah, Match Commissioner in the Heart of Lions and Tema Youth game.
Also invited are Patrick Kyeremanteng, who handled the game between Aduana Stars and Tudu Mighty Jets, as well as Elvis Mensah, a cameraman at the Tema Stadium, who shot the game between Tema Youth and Berekum Arsenals.
The Referee Review Panel has since the League imposed sanctions on referees who various offences in their respective matches.
