Euromoney to drive more investments, trade into Ghanaian economy

The conference, Euromoney Ghana Finance and Investment Conference, will bring together policymakers, businessmen, financiers and key overseas investors. Date for the event is February 7-8, 2012 in Accra.

“This high-level conference will highlight Ghana’s attractions as a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) destination,” said Euromoney on its website.

Ghana without doubt has the potential to become a very attractive partner for trade and investment across a multitude of sectors. This event will facilitate investment, trade and networking opportunities between Ghana and the rest of the world,” said the organiser.

Economists and business leaders investing in Ghana will also share their experiences, it said.

Ghana’s Minister of Finance, Dr Kwabena Duffour, Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, Bank of Ghana Governor and Mark Mobius, Executive Chairman, Templeton Emerging Markets Group, Franklin Templeton Investments are the keynote speakers.

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning is a partner of the event.
