Ghanaians challenged to make 2012 elections successful
Apostle Ebenezer N. Abrebese, President of The Apostolic Church, Ghana, has challenged Ghanaians, particularly Christians to demonstrate to the world that they are peace-loving people and make the 2012 elections successful.
He said Ghanaians must ensured that this years’ December Presidential and Parliamentary elections were conducted in a fair, peaceful, and transparent manner without chaos.
He said people should be careful with their choice of words and endeavour to be temperate in their language in order not to provoke any opponent.
Apostle Abrebese made the call in a letter which was circulated to all branches of the Church nationwide.
He said the media also owed it a great responsibility to help control peoples’ utterances by being professional and abide by the ethics of the profession.
“We are calling for renewed commitment to the service of God. We need to stand up for the Lord and identify ourselves with the teachings and doctrine of the Church” he charged Christians.
