Bosomtwe District to get GH¢300,000 ICT facility

Dr Joseph Oteng-Adjei, Minister of Energy,  has announced that Government would build Information Communication Technology (ICT) centre at Kuntanase, capital town of Bosomtwe District.

The Minister, who made this known when he feted more than 500 teachers in the area, at Kokoado, near Kuntanase, said the GH¢300,000.00 project was expected to start next month.

He said this was consistent with Government’s goal of providing infrastructure to facilitate teaching and learning of ICT throughout the country.

He pledged to support schools in the area with computers to promote education.

Mr William Awuni, District Education Director, commended Government for the initiative, and said the project if complete would enhance computer literacy, particularly among school children.
