2012 Afcon: Drogba secures first win for Ivory Coast against Sudan

Ivory Coast today won their first match against Sudan in Group B at the ongoing 2012 African Cup of Nations.

A goal from skipper Didier Drogba through a header in the 38th minute of the first half secured a 1-0 victory for the Ivorians over the Sudanese.

Impressive Sudan nearly equalised but hit the crossbar of the Ivorian goal post.

The match was played in Malabo, Equitorial Guinea.
