Don’t allow leaders to lead you astray – Apostle Dr Amoani
Apostle Dr Stephen K. Amoani, Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) has urged Ghanaians not to allow themselves to be led astray by some leaders but should remain focused in their bid to attain higher laurels in life.
Apostle Dr Amoani noted that some leaders in their attempt to breakaway from a group, church or organization, peddled falsehood in order to gain sympathy from the people who in turn followed them during the breakaway.
According to him, God had a purpose for every one and therefore people should not follow leaders of secessions as the act could hinder them from reaching their goals and halt their blessings from God.
Apostle Dr Amoani was speaking at a special church service at the CACI Nima Assembly in Accra to climax a week long programme dubbed “Celebrating the Lord’s champions.”
The programme which was on the theme: “Removing the Reproaches,” afforded the church to honour six pastors, four deacons and 48 members who gallantly remained steadfast when the wind of succession blew through the assembly and nearly broke down the church in 2003.
The pastors honoured included Apostle Michael Nimo, former Chairman CACI, Apostle Dr E.O.K Donkor, General Secretary, CACI, Apostle J.K Mensah Abrampa Evangelism Director CACI, Prophet James Awuniselya Prophetic Director CACI, Rev. T.K. Ansah, former local Nima Pastor and now Area Pastor of Obuasi and Rev Osei Yaw Danquah who was in charge of the Church’s Youth Ministry.
