Mobile provider, MTN Ghana says it has expanded its Mobile Money service, making it possible for passengers of domestic airline, Starbow to purchase air tickets with the service.
MTN announced the service expansion during a meeting with journalists in Ho, in the Volta region, a press release issued by the company and copied to ghanabusinessnews.com has said.
Speaking about the service, Cynthia Lumor, Corporate Services Executive of MTN said, “MTN Mobile Money is accessible, secure and life enriching and we encourage everybody to take advantage of it”.
She indicated that the purchase of Starbow ticket is a new addition to the Mobile Money portfolio of services.
She explained that the process involves customers calling Starbow on 18181 or 0245000000 for booking. “An invoice is then sent to the customer for payment through MTN Mobile Money wallet or any MTN Service Center,” she said.
