Bomoakpole gets new market

Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle has commissioned an GHȼ85,000 market shed for the people of Bomoakpole amidst dancing and drumming.

The market, which was started in 1994 by the townsfolk to ensure decency and hygiene in commercial activities, came to a standstill due to financial constraints.

Mr Buah said it was prudent to use part of the MP’S common fund to better the lot of the people but will not put the monies in his pocket for his selfish gains.

He also donated street bulbs to the town to ensure security during the night and pledged to extend electricity to other parts of the town.

The Chief of Bomoakpole, Nana Minla Kpanyinli III was full of praise for the MP and the DCE for bringing development to the doorsteps of the inhabitants.
