Ghana Rugby team begins camping
Members of the select Senior National Rugby team last Friday, began residential camping at the Jubilee Hall of the University of Ghana, Legon towards the Confederation of African Rugby North Division 2 ‘Sevens’ Africa Cup in Togo.
The 15-man contingent made up of Hamza Suleiman – Cosmos Buffalos RFC, Muhammed Rabiu, Aminu Nasiru -Idas, Sports Rugby Club, Alhassan Sani – Cosmos Buffalos RFC, Kingsley Nortey – Dansoman Hurricanes RFC, Segbefia Prince, Adjiri Jonas, Attieku Alfred all of Legon Titans RFC, Labaran Ibrahim – Cosmos Buffalos RFC, Tinkorang Sampson, Idas Sports Rugby Club, William Ayitey – Dansoman Hurricanes RFC
The rest are John Hawkson, Charles Junior and John Donkor – Oguaman Ocean Warriors RFC – Cape Coast and Emmanuel Kalos – Legon Titans RFC.
A statement from the Ghana Rugby Association (GRA) copied to GNA Sports said a final membership squad would be selected for the competition.
It said the team would be accompanied by Julius Amevor – Coach, Kenaz Daniel Mensah – Secretary General, John Kennedy Koranteng – Technical Director and Imam Abdul Moomin Salford – Doctor.
