Three Ghanaians to be sentenced in Fiji after pleading guilty to credit card fraud
Three Ghanaian students living in Fiji are due to face jail sentences after they pleaded guilty to credit card fraud in that country.
The three – Marvin Opoku Agyemang, Boakye Vincent Kwame, and Isaac Velison were charged with illegally using personal information from credit cards from November 30, 2011 to January 8, 2012.
The three students pleaded guilty to all their charges and admitted using credit card information of at least six different people.
A Fiji magistrate court has set July 13, 2012 as the day for the trio to hear their sentencing, the Fijilive reported July 6, 2012.
The trio has been further remanded.
