Ghanaian Anny Osabutey wins 2012 CNN African Best Radio Journalist Award

Ghanaian broadcast journalist Joshua Anny Osabutey has won the 2012 CNN African Radio General News Award.

Osabutey, who works with radio station JoyFM in Accra, won the award with his story “Squatters Paradise”.

The awards ceremony was held yesterday July 21, 2012 in Lusaka, Zambia.

The top prize, African Journalist 2012 Award went to Tom Mboya and Evanson Nyaga of Citizen TV in Kenya.
