Fan Milk propels Accra Bourse Index higher
The GSE-Composite Index (GSE-CI), the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, rose 2.93 points to 1,028.83 points from 1,025.90 points on Monday with a year-to-date return of 6.17 per cent.
The GSE-Financial Stocks Index (GSE-FSI), which tracks the performance of listed financial stocks, also advanced by 3.34 points to 861.80 points from 861.37 points with a year-to-date change of -0.15 per cent.
There were four price changes- three gainers and a loser.
Ecobank Ghana Limited was up GH¢0.01 to GH¢3.11, Fan Milk gained GH¢0.11 to GH¢2.74 and Anglo-Gold Ashanti Depository went up by GH¢0.01 to GH¢0.53.
The sole loser was Enterprise Group Limited down GH¢0.01 to GH¢0.30
Market Capitalization rose to close the session at GH¢55,939.58 million.
Shares traded are 682,080, valued at more than GH¢1.51 million.
