V&A ups stakes in Ghana’s Enterprise Group to 53%
Ventures and Acquisitions Limited (V&A) has acquired 6.26% shares in the Enterprise Group Limited (EGL), taking its stakes in the group to 52.94%.
The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), who confirmed the move in a statement September 3, 2012, said the issued shares where acquired by V&A August 27, 2012 informed by Databank Brokerage Limited.
“Databank Brokerage Limited announces that Ventures and Acquisitions Limited (V&A) has on August 27, 2012 acquired an additional 6.26% of the issued shares in Enterprise Group Limited (EGL),” the GSE statement said.
“The acquisition involved the purchase of 8,221,125 ordinary shares at GH¢0.32 on the Ghana Stock Exchange,” it said.
Incorporated in 1976, EGL now has a stated capital of GH¢1,864,000. It primarily provides insurance services.
