BUSAC holds capacity building workshop for Nkoranza business groups
The Business Support Advocacy Challenged (BUSAC) Fund last Saturday ended a capacity building workshop for 20 executive members of five selected business organisations from the Nkoranza North District at Nkoranza.
It was to educate participants for accurate record keeping and proper financial management for their businesses and those of their members to thrive well.
The organisations include the Ghana National Association of Garages, Enso Nyameye Gari Processing Association, the Northern Women Gari Processing and Marketing Association and the National Beekeepers Association (NATBA).
Topics discussed included “Importance of record keeping”, “Cash flow, forecasting and management”, “Production management control” and “Quality assurance and BUSAC-funded project reporting”.
Nana Ansu Adane Koforobour II, facilitator stated tha BUSAC-Fund was already supporting the selected associations to implement their respective advocacy actions for the expansion of their businesses for improved livelihood.
Mr. Idris Wiredu, a Facilitator reiterated the need for participants to set up objectives for their businesses to guide them during their challenges and successes.
Mr. Richard Okoe, President of NATBA and a participant, urged them to impart the knowledge acquired to members of their associations to enhance business growth and the development of their communities.
