US company, Energy Edge ships first atmospheric water generator directly to Ghana Army
US–based Energy Edge Technologies (EEDG) says it has shipped its first Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG), a multi-pronged Africa initiative, directly to the Ghana Armed Forces.
According to the company’s statement September 14, 2012, the initial shipment was executed under the EEDG Partnership/Profit Sharing Agreement with Drinkable Air, a leader in pure water generation from humidity in the air.
The AWG was presented to the country’s top ranking military officers by Trillacorpe Construction and Albah Manufacturing Technologies Corporation who are partners of the initiative.
EEDG noted that the Drinkable Air units of all sizes are currently under consideration for new housing, industrial buildings, and military bases in Ghana.
“After years of research, travel, and pavement pound,” Frank Campanaro, EEDG Chairman said, “We fully expect that the successful implementation of the many components that we are bringing to Ghana’s military will serve as a springboard for a whole host of humanitarian business opportunities for EEDG throughout Africa and the Caribbean.”
