Ada Rural Bank should build confidence of shareholders – DCE
Mr Daniel Rex Wussah, District Chief Executive for Ada East, has called on the Management and Board of Ada Rural Bank to build the confidence of shareholders so they would continue to transact business with the bank.
He said the progress of the bank was the responsibility of the board, management and the shareholders and that he was not happy with the poor attendance.
Mr Wussah was speaking at the 27th Annual General Meeting to review the bank’s performance in the year 2011.
He said secrecy was very important within the operations of banks and called on management to constantly remind their staff of the oath of secrecy so as to build the confidence of clients.
Later, the board, external auditors and management read various reports of their performance and the way forward and renewed the mandate of Messrs Nexia Debrah and Co, Chartered Accountancy Firm, to continue to serve as the external auditors.
The meeting also renewed the term of office of Mr D.N. Sabbah, Mr P.T. Fiergbor, Mr S.T. Amoah, Mr B.K. Bosumprah and Mr E.O. Zogblah board members of the bank.
