Fishing harbour project to start soon – Minister

The Member of Parliament for Effutu, Mr Hike Hammah, has said work on the Safe Landing Fishing Harbour and the Market Complex at Winneba Junction would start soon.

The projects would be completed within three years, Mr Hammah said when addressing supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after a keep-fit exercise in Winneba at the week-end.

He appealed to the people to remain calm and avoid politics of insult, personal attacks and other behaviour that could create problems before, during and after the December elections.

Mr Alloety Jacobs, Central Regional Propaganda Secretary, appealed to NDC members to desist from acts that could tarnish the image of the party.
