President Mahama makes historic IEA evening encounter
President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday evening took his turn to outline the National Democratic Congress (NDC) programme at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) organised evening Encounter.
This is the first time a sitting President of the Republic has participated in the programme since its inception at the beginning of the fourth republic in 1992.
President Mahama touched on politics, economy, women empowerment, infrastructural development, corruption,health and job creation.
The programme was also attended by Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, Public and Civil Servants, Social workers,pressure groups and employers from all sectors of development.
President Mahama promised that government would put in measures that would ensure free, fair and acceptable elections for all Ghanaians, come December 7, this year.
His speech also presented a comprehensive work plan for the expansion of educational facilities where access would be equal and equitable throughout the country.
