Ghana-Cape Verde friendly pushed a day forward
Organizers of the scheduled Black Stars international friendly with Cape Verde have pushed the game a day forward.
The game billed for Lisbon, Portugal, originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 13, has now been pushed to Wednesday, November 14.
A communique from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) copied to the GNA Sports said “organizers of the game have informed the Ghana Football Association that the game will now be played on Wednesday. The venue remains the University of Lisbon Stadium in Lisbon.”
Ghana, housed in Group B alongside DR Congo, Mali and Niger is expected to use the game as a preparatory ground for the biannual competition commencing in South Africa next January.
