United Front Party joins NPP
The frazzled United Front Party (UFP) has declared its support for Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, NPP Presidential Candidate for the December polls.
According to a statement signed by Nana Agyemang Boateng, alias “Gyataba,” its national founder, made available to the GNA, Chairmen of the party in all the 10 regions together with the constituency and districts executives had endorsed the decision.
This decision comes in the wake of the confusion over the flagbearership of the party that had rocked the party of late.
The statement explained that the party did not endorse Mr Akwasi Addai whose nomination had been accepted by the Electoral Commission as the flagbearer of the Party for the December polls for a myriad of reasons.
Mr Akwasi Addai has been accused of using the party’s logistics for his personal gains, refused to lift up the party’s ideology and aspiration and shown dishonesty and disrespect to party executive among other things, the statement added.
“In the light of these we the coalition of the 10 functional national, regional and constituency executives together with the party founder, hereby declare to the entire nation that hence, we are in support of the man who possesses all the abilities to ensure the nation’s development and fix the economy,” the statement added.
