Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry inaugurates new Council
Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) on Tuesday inaugurated new members into the Council to direct the affairs of the Chamber.
Mr Seth Adjei Baah, President of the GCCI who addressed the inaugural ceremony in Accra said, “The Council is the governing body of the Chamber and for that matter its membership is of key importance as every decision taken directly affects the course of the chamber”.
He congratulated the new members of the Council on their appointment to serve on the GCCI Council, and urged the new Council to continue to work for the success and progress of the Chamber.
The composition of the new GCCI Council is as follows: Mr Set Adjei President, President; Mr Prosper Adabla, First Vice President; Nana Appriagyei Dankawos, Second Vice President; Mrs Victoria Hajar, National Treasurer; and Mr Michael Akwasi Sarpong, Secretary.
Other members are Mr Clement Osei Amoako, Mr Ato Van-Es, Mr Harry Mensah, Mr Bernard Owusu Ansah, Nana Akwanuasa, Mr Isaac Barry, and Mr Imram Kwakye.
The rest are Ahaji Shehu Wumbei, Lawyer J.S. Awudu, Mr Douglas Akuamoah Boating, Mrs Josephine Esi Okutu, Mrs Kate Quartey Papafio, Mr D.K. Mensah and Mr George Kwaku Ofori.
