Mauritius PM congratulates President Mahama

The Prime Minister of Mauritius Kailash Purryag on Friday congratulated President John Dramani Mahama for winning the December 7 Presidential Election.

In a congratulatory message copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, he said: “I am pleased to convey to you on behalf of the Government and people of Mauritius and in my own name, our warmest congratulations on your election as President of the Republic of Ghana.

”I wish you every success in your responsibilities. I am confident that, under your continued leadership, your country will successfully address the challenges it faces and play an increasingly important role within our region.

“It is my warmest hope that the relations of friendship and cooperation between our two countries be further reinforced for the mutual benefit of our people.

“Please accept, Excellency, the assurance of my highest consideration and my very best wishes for your personal well-being,” he said.
