NDC eyes to capture three Tema seats in 2016
Mr Jake Addo, Chairman of the 24th Movement, Tema Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has underscored the need for party members and supporters in the Metropolis to strive to capture all the three seats in the 2016 elections.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Tema, Mr Addo explained that the Movement formed in memory of President J.E. Mills of blessed memory, was bent on stopping the serial defeats of the NDC in Tema.
He assured the NDC that the Movement shall mobilise members in the Metropolis into formidable fighting party machinery capable of campaigning to defeat the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in all the three constituencies.
The 24th Movement Chairman said the continuous defeat of the NDC in Tema was a matter of great concern to party loyalists and that with coming into being of the Movement the serial defeats of the NDC in Tema would be a thing of the past.
He, therefore, urged political astute minds within the Metropolis to rally behind the Movement in its bid to capture all the three seats in the Metropolis come 2016.
“We need all hands on deck to enable us as stakeholders to bring on board any good ideas that will make us achieve very good results for Tema,” Mr Addo emphasized.
