Coca-Cola Equatorial Africa names new Public Affairs Head

A former UNDP Advisor, Mrs Ama Bawuah, has been appointed the new head of Public Affairs and Communications at Coca-Cola Equatorial Africa.

She replaces Mr Philippe Ayivor.

A press statement issued by Coca-Cola says Mrs Bawuah was a UNDP Advisor on Aid and Funding Coordination to the Government of Ghana and had in the past worked as Vice President for Citigroup Corporate Investment Bank’s Global Transaction Services in New York.

She was the West Africa Director for the Whitaker Group and has had a stint with Sun Trust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia as Project Manager.

Mrs Bawuah is a graduate of the University of Ghana and holds an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
