Ghanaians urged to double check before dealing with financial firms

Mr Julius Kwayie Mensah, Public Relations Officer of Zenith Bank Ghana, has appealed to the public to verify the capabilities of financial institutions before transacting business with them.

He said they should enquire of their Bank of Ghana certificates authorising them to operate to and help prevent frauds from duping them.

Mr Mensah said this when addressing a day’s workshop organised for women at Abesim in the Sunyani Municipality.

He said one ought to be careful in order to avoid being attracted or deceived by the attractive interest rates and other incentives promised by such financial institutions to dupe them.
