The “Equipment Aid Support to Foreign Armed Forces Programme” was signed in Accra March 4, 2013 between Ghana’s Defence Minister, Mr. Mark Woyongo and the German Ambassador to Ghana, Dr. Renate Schimkoreit.
“With the new tranche of the programme Ghana will have received training and military equipment worth about €17 million,” the German Embassy in Accra said on its website.
The programme will span from 2013 to 2016.
