Prices of goods at Makola market remain steady
Most shops visited by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Makola indicated that prizes of goods have not increased since Mr Seth Tekper, Finance Minister read the budget last month.
According to some of the shop owners it is because they are receiving old stalk from suppliers.
They said they have however been notified that there is a possibility of increase in prizes very soon.
Owners of shops, which sell GTP clothes said prices of their goods have not been increased since April last year.
Elizabeth Okine who sells cosmetics told the GNA she expects price hikes very soon.
She pegged the prices of box creams from the range of GH¢10 to GH¢15 while non box relaxers ranges from GH¢7.50p to GH¢8.50p.
They however complained about poor sales.
Mr William Amo, a trader said the prices of school bags range from GH¢8 to GH¢20 and GH¢50 to GH¢100 for computer bags.
