Brong-Ahafo Fire Service unveils new web portal, social media platforms

The Brong-Ahafo Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has developed a website to provide essential information about its operations and activities to the world, the general public, and the media within its jurisdiction.

In addition, it would provide another avenue to the general public to reach the GNFS during emergency.

This was contained in a statement issued in Sunyani and copied to the Ghana News Agency by Assistant Chief Fire Officer (ACFO) K. Larbi Apraku, Brong-Ahafo Regional Fire Commander.

It said the web portal had an array of functionalities including live fire safety support, online submission of fire and Road Traffic Accidents statistics, Facebook and Twitter portals. It also provides graphical representation of fire outbreak trends in the region.

The statement said; “The above links are official and any correspondence routed through our email will be promptly attended to. Meanwhile, all media houses who need any information pertaining to our activities, especially fire outbreaks in the region, could refer to our website.”
