First Taekwondo International Team Cup Championship in Ghana

The Ghana Taekwondo Association (GTA) would on Saturday, March 23, organize the 1st Taekwondo International Team Cup Championship at the RLG D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The championship, dubbed “3rd Mission and 1st Mission Taekwondo Team Cup Championship is aimed at offering young talents the exposure for international events.

A statement from the GTA said, they have extended invitation to participants from Togo, Nigeria, Benin, Cote d’ Ivoire and Niger.

The statement said the championship would be used as preparatory grounds for the World Taekwondo Championships and All Africa Games in 2015.
